The White House is refusing to allow Admiral William Fallon, the Chief of the US Central Command who resigned just last week over public criticism of the administration's military policies, to testify before Congress in April on Iraqi troop levels.
Admiral Fallon was scheduled to testify along with General David Patraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker.
The announcement coincidentally was made by the Pentagon on Friday, March 21, 2008, the same day federal offices were closed due to the Good Friday Holiday.
