Dear friends:
The following letter to the editor about 911 truth matters was published in the North County Times, and was sent to me by the author, who asked me to post it here on Opednews. So...
For those of you who have continually said that newspapers will not print your letters, here is a case which should encourage you. One would think, if anything was to be censored, 911 truth matters would be the topic. Well guess what: Think again. Take heart, folks, and give your local editors a try! As I have written previously, I have more than 100 letters printed in my name, and in my experience letters to the editor are not as censored as mainstream articles. Here comes the 911 truth letter, below! Thank you all. ---Kathryn Smith
When is a tower not a tower?
Is it reasonable to call a 47-story building a tower? The highest building in San Diego is the Electra building at 43 stories. Would you argue 47 stories isn't high enough to be called a tower? Now, if someone said to you, "There were three World Trade Center towers that came down on Sept. 11, 2001," would you correct that person by pointing out that one of those towers was only 47 stories and, hence, not a tower; or by pointing out only two towers came down?
Tower 7 is the third tower that came down that day, even though no airplane struck it. The media has hardly mentioned it. The 9/11 Commission didn't mention it. FEMA said in a preliminary report back in 2002, the building collapsed because intense fires had burned for hours, fed by thousands of gallons of diesel stored in the building for emergency generators. But its report said this had "only a low probability of occurrence," and more work was needed.
Now, more than six years later, they apparently haven't come up with a better explanation. Still the final report languishes. Why has no one pressed for a serious investigation?
