I would suggest that an early act of President Obama should be to arrange for a smooth transition of our Iraq embassy, military headquarters, and contractors to more modest quarters outside of the Green Zone. We should then arrange for the Green Zone to morph into a world class medical training and health care facility. I envision that this facility would specialize in children's health care, especially diseases of middle eastern children, and the short term and long term treatment of traumatic injuries from all types of weapons.
