Of course, Rod Blagojevich is a disgrace. But his name has nothing to do with it.

Mike Huckabee had  a good laugh with Jon Stewart on the Daily show about the name of  the gov. of Illinois  which' no one can pronounce'.  Surely, they did not mention  that ' Huckabee' most likely means   a bee specializing in  Huckleberry  berries and ' Jon Stewart' is a pseudonym- the man has some Jewish name like Glickman or something. No biggie and nothing outstanding.

Blagojevich (spell - blago-ye-vich) is  an ancient Slavic ( Serbian or Croatian) name and it means  ' the bearer of the goodness'. Rod most likely ( I speculate) was  baptized as Radovan which means ' the  one that brings joy'.
