I'm opening up and allowing some outsiders to help boost my success in film school. I realize that viewpoints and subjects are often kept from being heard or spread in the mainstream corporate media. So, read on and give me your ideas.

::::::::

I have an interest in documentary and I am in the process of going down a path where I find success making documentaries. After making a few, I may go Hollywood and make some fictional narrative films that have substance and aren't Meet the Spartans or Untraceable or Over My Dead Body. I would like to restore some dignity to the spoof that has been stolen away by the creators of such films as Date Movie, Epic Movie, and even Scary Movie really by making something more Mel Brooks-esque or something like what the Zuckers used to make (Airplane!). But for now, let's focus on Documentary 1.

I have the opportunity to add to my resume and demo reel a production that is a short biographical piece that covers a subject where a main character is at the center of a conflict within that subject.

My teacher's a believer in going some place audiences don't often go. I wish to push the boundaries and have some ideas for doing so. However, for now, let me see what my audience is thinking when I posit this question.

After all, you are the people I am looking to connect with first off and then from there if more appreciate what my films have to say, well, I'll be pleasantly surprised and happy.

What would you like to see?

( If your idea involves a subject or person that involves the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio, than that will have more of a possibility of getting off the ground. If your idea involves specifically the Chicago area and its surrounding suburbs, that's even better.)

I will follow up with a diary after the responses come in for a couple days.

By the way, check out this documentary I am currently on the crew for.
