What future does this country actually have?
When I take a look at what is happening in this country today, I really have to wonder if it is worth remaining here. Should I immigrate to another country if I can? Let's take the economic situation for example. In the US the economy crashes because big wealthy banksters push individuals to keep buying on money they do not have, and keep pushing individuals to make purchases that they cannot pay for. They turn Wall Street into a giant casino and get away with fraud on a massive level. The moral of the story here is if you are rich, you can lie, cheat, and defraud people. It's okay. The little man must pay his bills or be damaged by his "credit", a moral tick list kept by banks. Of course they do not have to be moral, do not have to tell the truth, or do anything that benefits society or the community at large. Morality is for the common folk--not for the oligarchy.
As the oligarchy robs little people, they also send jobs to other countries or allow foreigners into the country to take jobs illegally. Foreigners are allowed to take American's ID to obtain a job. They are allowed to have free health care which is denied to Americans, and they don't have to carry any sort of ID unlike the average American. Now, Americans are expected to buy tons of foreign products usually made in China, but they are not guaranteed a job. If Americans do not buy Chinese goods, then retailers fire off Americans. More Americans have no jobs and cannot pay back big banks nor can they buy Chinese goods.
Americans struggle to go to college and take out big loans from banksters to get a good education. When they get out, they find out that the corporation they were going to work for hired foreigners cheaply to do the job. What does the American do? He/she has a loan to a bankster who will damage his credit/moral score if he does not pay it back, but he can't get a job because jobs have been outsourced to other countries or taken by foreigners.
There are no jobs and he/she is saddled into debt that he can't get rid of. There are literally no manufacturing jobs, so he/she must make do with very menial type work just to eat. These types of jobs will probably soon disappear because he must eat rather than buy Chinese goods.
Instead of raising taxes on corporate fraudsters, Obama turns his back on the poor and decides to continue expensive wars and keep tax cuts for the rich. He will thus deplete the treasury in a short time. I am really not sure how long China will continue to loan money to the US. Probably until every single American is out of work and starving in the street with loads of debt owed to banksters. Bankers will try to put people in jail for not paying their bills. They can't pay their bills without work. Americans will begin fleeing the country to find work. What reason would keep someone in such a situation if he had any means whatsoever to escape?
The people will leave their debt behind to try to find a way to survive and the economy based on debt will collapse. The wealthy who think that it's okay for the rich to cheat, rob, and defraud the poorer folk will likely wind up on the chopping block as soon as power fails to deliver propaganda TV.
When people are too poor for electricity and have no constant ramblings from the corporate oligarchy pumped into their houses, they might begin to wonder how this all happened. They might begin to think for themselves or they may be too busy struggling to find food. Hungry people tend to become very cantankerous.
I really don't see a future for this country as all elections are paid for by the wealthy, and people tend to believe anything that appears on TV or in print if they can read. They will believe the most ridiculous ramblings of some dolt on TV. I think this country will be like Mexico very shortly. You have the poor and the illiterate, and the rich. There will also be a criminal, mafia class. Those who are dishonest win, and the honest lose in this country. What do honest people do? They see the writing on the wall and try to find a reasonable place to make an honest living.
