Important: News about Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports withheld from the public by local, county, state and federal governments!

::::::::

I received a few articles recently about Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports.  I never knew anything about them up until now.  I thought, like I'm sure many of you, that the budgets presented to us online about our local community, our state, and our Federal government, were the "budgets".  They are the ones that show us how far our government is in the red or in some lucky cases in the black.  Given this "recession" we are told we are in, I would say most are reading in the red.

What I have now found out is that there are two sets of books kept by each of these segments of governments.  The one they show us and the one they call the "Comprehensive Annual Financial Report".   I am going to send a link to the article.  If you come to the conclusion that we would no longer have to pay taxes for many years because of the surplus we have been paying to all levels of our governments and the "slush" money they have, please go to Change.gov and let Obama know that it is one of your priorities that these comprehensive reports be shown to us immediately.

There is also another site in the video to go to for more written information about this story if you rather read than watch a 2 hour video.  The article was written in December of 2008.

I got interested in investigating our governments policices after a friend called me a neocon. At that time I didn't know what she meant. I do now! I've learned more than I really thought I would want to know about 9/11, the Kennedy's, and (more...)
