Where is the Rove indictment that Jason Leopold said was handed down on Friday? One or two days before this was picked up by the mainstream media is understandable. How could this be kept silent by all involved other than Jason's sources up until now? It doesnt make sense.Several apparent errors in the story are starting to become evident. Several sources put Fitzgerald in Chicago last Friday, NOT Washington DC as reported by Leopold. Rove's attorney Robert Luskin denied meeting with Fitzgerald on Friday. The time period specified, 15 hours seems unreasonable for a prosecutor to spend at a defense attorney's office discussing a few fairly simple charges. Put another way, if the "15 hour meeting" started at 9am, it would not have ended until Midnight Saturday morning.
I'm starting to feel VERY silly that I wrote an article defending Jason. I hope that evidence of the veracity of his story is unearthed soon.
