Oh dearie me! What’s a girl to do. Whine. Complain. Whine.
Former Texas Sen. Phil Gramm and chief financial guru to John “GHWB didn’t know the price of a gallon of milk, but a gallon of oil, or what a grocery scanner was” McCain, said we are a nation of whiners.
If that weren’t maligning us enough, he said the economy isn’t in a recession; it’s us -- we the people -- who are deranged and suffering from a “mental recession.”
A tanking economy is all a figment of our imaginations.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
If only I had know. I would have had myself immunized from loss of my job, loss of my daughter’s job, sky-rocketing prices of everything, soaring local taxes and fee, and news that every bank in the country is on the verge of bankruptcy.
Like all ego maniacal, backwards thinkers, Gramm goes to the head of the line as one of the blamers of the victims of his crimes, among others, for our sinking economy.
This is the man who brought us the Enron scandal that cost California and Enron stockholders billions of dollars, and Enron employees their jobs.
We’re “whining” while he’s looking down on us from his lofty perch on top piles of money he and his wife stole from us and haughtily tells us to quit our whining, that we‘re deranged and we should shut the hell up.
In his twisted mind what sounds to him like whining is the sound or extreme worry about everything from mortgages to fuel costs to job security to health care to you name it that increasingly costs more that is sweeping the country.
Dr. Gramm, like Dr. Phil should be casting his voodoo economic diagnoses from a classy Club Fed for practicing national psychiatry without a license.
