Minutes ago, I finished reading, Lack of Convictions Vs. Lack Of Courage by: Chris Bowers. His fine writing inspired me to post the following rambling thoughts:
Oh how it must tear these democratic politicians up every time they oh-so-reluctantly stick another dagger into our constitution - into our democracy - and into (for many of us anyway) OUR HEARTS. How hard it must be for them...Poor, poor, pitiful helpless politicians - they have no choice.
And to those of you that are crying "unity" at all costs, I say, The republican party would adore you. And hey, where the hell have you been anyway? I don't see many of you responding to the call for a national strike. No sirree bob.
Sure, you say you want unity? But do you really mean it? Ok, prove it. JOIN US - cause we sure as hell are not joining you - not for more of the same.
Sneaky Unity minions - please either lead, follow, or get the hell out of our way.
And Dirty Politicians, you are on notice: You want my vote? You want my support? Get it the old fashioned way. Earn it.
