Please check out this new app for the iPhone or iTouch.
We all need to sign up for this as it will change the way we know and can participate in the legislative process. I for one am not afraid of this new technology and can now keep track so much easier of what is happening in my name.
That is how we must think of it too. This is a way to let our elected representatives, not officials but representatives, know what we want to be done in our name. Question to ponder now: How will this change the way in which legislators vote? How will this change the ways in which they report back to us? Will this change the ways in which action alerts by the organizatioins we support will get us involved? All good news for now?
Let me know what you think too. This is something whose time has come. I know there were other ways to do this before, but this is quite a great new thing.
