As the election coverage has been heating up, and tea party Republican antics have become a source of great entertainment for the media, there are two nagging questions that I have yet to hear them ask:
1) Christine O'Donnell has been accused , by the Center for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), of pocketing campaign donations from her previous campaigns. Part of the controversy involves the use of those monies for rent for her home, which she claims doubles as campaign space; however, reportedly , even this is against the rules. (And it doesn't address why she allegedly spent campaign funds on bowling.) But she has been the recipient of even more campaign donations this time around. What will happen to that money? I haven't heard anyone ask that question.
2) If you watch the video of the Rand campaign volunteer/donor who stomped on the head of a Moveon.org activist, you can see a man stopping him, after his first stomping effort. What would have happened if no one had stopped him? The young woman suffered a concussion - could it have been much worse?
