The US media has become little more than a propaganda machine pushing the US to more and more extreme fringe like conservatism. Now getting health care is such a big deal that they are ready to take their pee shooters and have some sort of revolution.They monger for war and scream that we should defend our country even though we spend far more than any other country on earth in the defense department.
Most of this mongering and fringe behavior serves the elite and many get handouts from the military or the health care industry. They want us to stay on oil and coal to keep their pockets lined and the corporations want to be a person. The moneyed elite tell us what is news and what is not news, and mostly it is corporate propaganda.
Time to take the hammer to the media. They need to be trust busted, and I would like to bar foreigners from owning US media. That means Rupert Murdoch needs to get the heck out of this country with his money.
