I sit and watch the current 'debate' which poses as something relevant to the US national elections. I just don't understand. In a country that is portrayed as one with a separation of church and state (i.e. religion and politics are separate issues) why are we getting media coverage of the kind that is coming over CNN at the moment? We are becoming the anthesis of the radical states in the far east by making 'religious' issues and stances important during our political decisions. They only become important when the few who believe (like the questions imply) want the country to be governed in their favor or by their standards. It is just another form of 'fascism'..."my way or the highway"...
...upset enough to die for the loss; maybe better stated 'the assasination of' my country and what it Stood for. Religous zealots had no place in any of the world religions at their onset and have no place in today's world either.
