The Supreme Court has(11-30-09)overruled the federal district court decision to release torture photos. This decision is consistent with President Obama's position to suppress the evidence, thereby providing cover fortorturers andencouragement for like behavior in future.
The treachery of the past Republican government was obvious to any perceptive and decentperson, whereas even though it was a Democrat-majority congress that gifted Bush his war powers, and Democrats who endorsed every war funding bill for the past eight years, there was some hope that a new Democrat president coupled with a majority Democrat congress would bring some decency to America's governance, some respect from the decentgovernments of the world, and a kinder verdict in future history books.
It has become increasingly clear that the Democrat regime gives us nothing more than different packaging, which now, the wrapping falling away, reveals the identical contents of venality and treachery supported by obfuscation and posturing.
If indeed the truth would set us free, what will be the result of persevering treachery? Each success of the treacherous whets their appetite for more. When will the breaking point come? And what in the face of complicit bipartisan government will be the means for correction available and chosen by decent Americans?
