Today. What will I do?        I will talk to someone, perhaps a few someones. Tell them to ‘goggle’ Presidential Directive 51. Ask if they saw Aaron Russos’ documentary “Freedom to Fascism”. Give them a copy. Tell them to check out OpEDnews.com. Ask that they read an article or three, then the comments, and perhaps even make one. Get an article from my truck to leave with them as we both go off to work. Ask the Persian man behind the counter what he sees and feels. Listen to a proud soldiers mom tell me about her older son who is talking about refusing to go back to Iraq. Suggest she ‘goggle’ Smedley Butler. Doing more research on my own, so I can continue to stay in the light. Offer an opportunity to the next kid that walks into my shop to begin a relationship with ‘music’. Send an email or a letter to someone expressing my concern that if we don’t demand something of ourselves, we haven’t the right to demand it of others. To remind myself that none of us alone has the key. To sound no disparaging words towards those I disagree with. To be polite and firm when speaking. To express my feelings and opinions. Not theirs. To forgive, but not forget. And… do my best to remember how much we need each other in all this.        My country is being crushed, ripped apart, recycled, deceived and stripped bare. Now 55 years into this life, I see that it was my perspective that was a blip on someone else’s screen. That hurt.  Nowadays there is no time to be hurt.  History has enough already without me heaping on more.         Today. What will I do?
