Opednews can very quickly become a Hyde Park if we do not stop that now.

::::::::

Dear folks

Please, have a look at the articles we have here. Please, realize that we are very quickly becoming a Hyde Park. Everyone stays on his soap box and everyone just.. reacts to what MSM feeds us all. How many Palin articles did we have? I lost the count. How many articles about McCain as a person? We can write a book about him. How many articles do we have with true in-deep analysis of the driving forces of this election: who is behind the figureheads, what groups are in power, what groups want power, what people are in charge, what interests... maybe two or three articles, no more. Morover, we use more and more generalizations like GOP, Oil companies, PNAC, neocons, right -wing, etc. instead of Carlyle group, Dr. Dobson, WilliaM Kristol, Pat Robertson, etc. Less and less we address real interests, less and less do we tell people what our interests are. If someone tells us why he/she would vote or not vote for Obama, say - it is parade of rhetoric about him being too much right, or too much left, whatever. Baloney, folks. I will vote for Obama because I can associate my interests, financial included with what he professes. I need peace in this country and I need not draft. I need more diversity because I am a diversity. I cannot associate myself with the GOP because I will never be a part of them. I need an educated man in the White House because that (I hope) will rise a possiblity for the professionals like me. McCaine and his bosses are dirving the country into 1920s and there is no chance for a person like me to survive in that environment. That simple. I need that. What do you need?

Folks, step off your soapboxes and do not use this site to react to the MSM. Stop chewing on Palin's character- she has none. Stop telling me that McCain is crazy- I know that. Stop amplifying the media frenzy. Instead, please, concentrate on what is important- show me and all who read this site how to associate their interests with the viable candidate you have chosen. Also be passionate about the way YOU see this world. Please, remember the simple axiom though- the world does not want to be saved. It wants to be left alone. If a reader- any reader sees that you, a writer had decided this because that is why your interests are corresponding to the decision- that reader will understand and respect you. That is because we all think the same way. Otherwise the reader will consider us wackos, sorry.

Folks, I love you all but in this noise I cannot distinguish an individual voice anymore, no offense. We are not in the Hyde Park. People's lives are at stake; your lives and lives of your children. Make your choice and show it. There is nothing like a good story as Rob Kall says. Forget Palin. Tell me about you.

A writer is a rogue goose. All other gees fly in a flock formation; every goose knows his place and time for honking. The rogue goose is undisciplined. He leaves the formation indiscriminately to have a look at it from aside. He roams back and (more...)
