And you thought Kucinich was wacko for seeing a UFO...Turns out, even this president had desires to understand the unknown.

“Mankind is drawn to the heavens for the same reason we were once drawn to unknown lands and across the open sea...We choose to explore space because doing so improves our lives and lifts our national spirit. So let us continue the journey.”

During a catastrophic and explosive "War on Terrror," Bush laid the foundation for going to unknown worlds in our galaxy in the future. And for what?

For two possible reasons:

1) He and the top 1% want to get the hell off of this hot rock before they and their ancestors who are REAL Americans get wiped out by the not-so-unreal threat of global warming which they choose not to acknowledge because they do not want to put their resources and time into fighting. or

2) He and others believe there is or was life out there and perhaps we could benefit from coming in contact with it or finding out that life has existed before and try to figure out what led to its extinction so we can do what's necessary to survive (if anything) back here on Planet Earth.
