I can state with honesty that I admire progressives and their idealism. To desire and envision a government that serves it's people and looks out for it's least fortunate citizens is a point of view and belief system worth of respect and admiration. You are my brothers and sisters, and my countrymen. I am grateful that you exist.
But you are as naive as an altar boy in a rectory. The world you envision will never come to pass while the cartel of private banksters control our money.
No matter how stridently and passionately you pursue your vision, you will be nothing more than the scottish nobles in Braveheart, clamoring for the crumbs from longshanks table.
Look at history, please. When have you or your vision ever been handed more than crumbs?
The only democrat speaking to the core issue of our monetary system is Kucinich. He is a hero and a patriot. But the democratic party wants nothing to do with him, and he can't win his own party's nomination.
A Ron Paul presidency offers us something we have never had; a nation of our own, free from the tyranny and debt slavery of banksters.
I dream a dream more progressive than your own; of a nation so full and ripe with opportunity, government no longer needs to be the instrument that saves us. We save ourselves, and each other.
