Abramoff lobbied DeLay office to organize a June 10,2003 letter to Interior Secretary Gale A. Norton endorsing a view of gambling law benefiting the Coushattas.The letter was co-signed by DeLay,House Speaker J.Dennis Hastert,Majority Whip Roy Blunt,and Deputy Whip Eric I. Canter. A group of Republicans who do not weigh in on Indian issues.
