I met Christian Deputy twice, and didn't personally get to know him well.
But I've gotten to know some relatives and others of his family, and particularly his brother, Spencer, who is amazing in his own right, and his Dad, Mike, owner of Utility Trailers in Salt Lake. But the point is this:::::::::

I further submit this as testimony as to why violence is not a good thing, a thing to be avoided whenever humanly possible.
Also, this is a mostly Mormon family, and while I may not be crazy about that religion's foundations, I would argue hard that their social support system is the finest I've seen in my 63 years--and that for family and human togetherness, you couldn't do much better overall. Now, if we can only do something similar as a "family of man," which we truly are.
