I met Christian Deputy twice, and didn't personally get to know him well.

Also, this is a mostly Mormon family, and while I may not be crazy about that religion's foundations, I would argue hard that their social support system is the finest I've seen in my 63 years--and that for family and human togetherness, you couldn't do much better overall. Now, if we can only do something similar as a "family of man," which we truly are.
