They Hate Us, But Their Kids Play With an American Icon, the Teddy Bear

Message Sandy Sand

It's a fantasmic irony that Sudanese children love and play with an American Icon...the teddy bear.

The teddy bear, named for one of our most famous presidents, Theodore Roosevelt, because he was depicted in a cartoon saving the life of a bear cub.

Those same Arabs, who want to see us dead want to keep our "teddy" alive for the pleasure of their children.

The same men who rampaged through the streets of Khartoum demanding the death for a teacher, Gillian Gibbons, an English citizen, for allowing her Sudanese students to name the class teddy bear Muhammed, are the same men who buy teddy bears for their children.

By the way, do fanatical religious Muslims change the rules as they play the game of religiosity?  How come it's okay to name thousands of male children "Muhammed?"

Wouldn't that be taking the "Lord's name in vain" and and insult to Islam?  If that were true, not only would every Arab parent with a son named Muhammed have to be beheaded, but Christians would be marching in the streets demanding the death of every Hispanic who named his son Jesus [Hay-seus].

Only they can stop their own insanity; we can't do it for them.  When they wake up and realize it is better to love their children and our teddy bears more than they hate us, will this insanity stop.
