Rebuttal to "I'm voting Republican" video

::::::::

This video is basically everything that's wrong with our current version of politics. Yeah sure, it may seem funny, but this is such complete misinformation making retarded blanket statements.

How would you feel if someone made a video that said the following?

I'm voting democrat because...

I have no understanding of property rights. Some idiot in congress should get to decide how much of our own money we deserve to keep, along with our land. You lost your house? Aw man that sucks, sorry I raised your taxes so that I could give your payments away to some crackhead on welfare. But look on the bright side, now you and your family can collect it too!

I don't understand that government money is just someone else's money taken through extortion by the IRS. I had no idea entitlement programs were provided at someone else's expense! Weird. That's why I support a Santa Claus/Tooth Fairy ticket!

You're either for us or against us, meaning government solutions. You're against collecting taxes for AIDS research because you believe the private sector would deliver better work for that same amount of money?? Not only are you wrong YOU OBVIOUSLY ARE PRO-AIDS for thinking so logically!

I don't think immigration should have any oversight. JUST LET THEM IN ALREADY. I can't think of a single consequence to flooding every American city with hundreds of thousands of homeless immigrants overnight.

I don't understand how a free market would make it utterly impossible for corporations to price gouge. We can't let other industries follow the unregulated trend of electronics by plunging in price while increasing the quality of the product! I'd much rather trust a politician who is funded by corporate interests to hold pointless hearings to make sure I'm getting a good deal.

I think the DMV is a fine establishment that defines quality service. If only we could get hospitals to be run in a similar manner!

The EPA is another examplary institution. Rather than having multiple privately run watchdog groups to keep each other accountable, we should just have one group made up of whoever the president feels like appointing, because as history has shown, they would never think to put people
in charge who profit from pollution.

I think that a country with over 150 million registered voters can be fully represented by 2 candidates from 2 different parties, and I'll be damned if some third party prick that thinks independently is going to come in and offer some real change, even though I can't shut the hell up about it!

I've never even bothered to investigate the cause of inflation. I'm not aware that it's a deliberate government practice that benefits the wealthy, or that both my party and the neo-cons advocate it.

Do I need to continue?

Simple, logical, and open-minded.
