"What is taking place in Iran today (regardless of which side you support or if the opposition is truly reformist or not) only reaffirms how the Arab people (youth in particular) are the most impotent and spineless people in the middle east." When was the last time the Arabs dared to go to the streets to protest the injustices heaped on them by their governments?

The Struggle in Iran's Streets is Far Beyond the Elections

Obama and Natanyahu have Made Pundits Redundant

In Cairo the President reminded us of the futility of repeating past mistakes as new policy. A few of us caught the meaning. OEN rejected my insights on this twice.

Barack wrote the final peace agreement in three days. It is an agreement the Palestinians can't refuse. They will disarm. Israel will recognize Palestine's right to exist and vice versa. In a nutshell, that describes the only viable peace.

Since the Palestinians have rejected this, all avenues to peace are now closed. The Palestinian leadership has chosen to fight until death.

Similarly retarded, the "divinely inspired" absolute ruler in Iran stuffed the ballot boxes in favor of his candidate Ahmadinejad. The deception was crude definitely not the act of a divinely inspired leader. Iranian citizens quickly reacted with peaceful street demonstrations.

The regime responded with violence and a barrage of lies including the long time favorite outside agitation. US traitors in the CIA and the Congress mounted the ridiculous claim they favored the Iranian demonstrators. Indirectly, they hinted through their hirelings they had a part in the green revolution.

The following video reveals the falseness of the claims and the moral bankruptcy of the Iranian and western regimes.

"What is taking place in Iran today (regardless of which side you support or if the opposition is truly reformist or not) only reaffirms how the Arab people (youth in particular) are the most impotent and spineless people in the middle east."

When was the last time the Arabs dared to go to the streets to protest the injustices heaped on them by their governments?

"You have youth movements active all around the world from Latin America to Iran to Turkey where the young people are trying to take an active role in determining their future, but not in the Arab world."

Zarathustra, Palestinian Pundit, Global Voices

The Spirit of Neda

Neda Soltani Revolution Martyr

Against impossible odds, the people of Iran are teaching the rest of us what is required to be a stand up human being. Mousavi accepts martyrdom. Why can't you?

Born a month before Pearl Harbor, I attended world events from an early age. My first words included Mussolini, Patton, Sahara and Patton. At age three I was a regular listener to Lowell Thomas. My mom was an industrial nurse a member of the (more...)
