In thinking about this as I viewed the discussion on television, I expanded on this idea and I am beginning here to explore this a little further. There is no consideration that torture should even exist at all. Rendering people, i.e., partially killing them to attain misinformation, is as stupid today as it was in the dark ages. But the power, to some, feels sooooo delightfully good! If you are a psychopath, and to those of you who subscribe to it, you are psychopaths. No charge for my psychological diagnosis, if you want to disprove it, see a therapist; one who you can't control.
Is it not possible that due to the many contaminants allowed under the auspices of doing business, that both businesses and government are slowly killing and torturing us all as a consequence of the expediencies taken to make a profit on goods and / or services rendered? Some of these goods and services are indesirable replacements for the original and more natural ones that we had before. For example: The use of hemp to produce paper instead of using trees; the use of alternative wind, wave and solar power instead of burning fuels or utilizing atomic energy to create electrical power. Using nuclear chemicals [the atomic elements of Uranium and Plutonium] as a fancy heater to heat water to drive turbine generators is ludicrous waste of atomic power that industry has to dispose of as radioactive waste and to bury somewhere where it is unwanted and just plain dangerous anyway. There is a lot of money in oil and atomic power plants, that's why they continue to be pandered to us as the only solution for electrical and fuel energy.
God forbid that we would do ANYTHING constructive for ourselves and for posterity.
For the last two centuries some businesses and individuals have been pouring contaminants into the land, the water and into the air. Contaminants such as Mercury and pesticides have been placed in our environment for the profitability of the few and the adverse health of all. Mercury is valuable as a chemical element and should always be cleanly recycled; as should all other contaminants, there is always a purpose in reusing them rather than just mining more for the sake of another profitable business.
If you kill our planet by rendering it and us to a slow death, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY BUSINESS OR CUSTOMERS AGAIN!
And what about you on the top, where will you go to destroy next, or will you be also stuck here to slowly die with us?
In the longer run, the production of alternative energy provides for a wealthy populace because everyone can provide well for themselves and others with that economical and clean energy. Of course, for the so-called rich and powerful not so human pseudo-royalty here on the planet Earth; you too may have everything you really need, that leaves out your control to misappropriate and make miserable the lives of all the human people of this world. It is well past time for you all to grow up and stop being spoiled three year olds in great big bodies.
Power contaminates all who fall into its fiery pit. For the rich and powerful, it must be fun for your perverted inhuman minds to needlessly torture the rest of us humans for your sadistic pleasure. Let's face it, power wouldn't be any fun if you couldn't make other people suffer. The trappings of power and control go along nicely with torture, just like in the dark ages! Killing off five to six billion living inhabitants of this planet must provide you with some special kind of glee. But where will you get your next power fix, no one will be left and you will be barely hanging on for dear life yourselves.
We all already know what is epitomized about the corruption of power. Destruction of our planet and all that it is just to wring out a little more profit and to plunder our existents to feel a little more power is a fruitless endeavor that benefits no one in the long term. Just remember that lurking amongst the shadows, the wise fools have a special need to torment us all, body and soul.
