Wouldn't it be great if Sarah Palin, like Cynthia McKinney has realized that real change will come from outside of officialdom

::::::::

No one really knows what Sarah Palin is up to by resigning as the Gov. Of Alaska but I am sure she is not simply planning to go away. Perhaps it's her intention to make a difference in this world from a position outside of officialdom like say Cynthia McKinney is doing for the refugees in Gaza. Activism like McKinney's is an anti status quo stance which has become impossible for the main stream elected politician. The lock step conformity of our Congress, Courts and Executive governance has become intractable for the common man looking for a bit of light in an otherwise media generated circus that passes for reality in so many befuddled minds.

So what is Sarah Palin planning for the next step in her career? Some say she is positioning for a run at National office, but she didn't have to resign anything to do that. In fact most candidates for President in the last cycle held active Senate seats, most still do or could have. Is she resigning because of a yet unrevealed scandal? I doubt that too because she has already proven quite adept at quelling scandal against her, she's almost like GW bush or Bill Clinton in that regard in the way she can simply make things go away for herself. So what is she up to?

Is she just tired of it all? That's doubtful, people love her or love to hate her, she is a lightning rod for many to rally their cause around. She is just finding her stride and her celebrity is gaining everyday. Some say she wants to do a talk show or something, the problem with that is she is too capable to just become another talker. No she's going to become a force for something in this world. I was thinking if she continues to criticize President Obama she may end up with a position in his administration. He does hire a lot of Republicans and his biggest critic a year ago is now his Secretary of State.

It's probably too much to hope for to see someone like Sarah Palin join with Cynthia McKinney to bring a higher profile to the conditions in the Gaza strip. But that is just what it would take, since the Main Stream Media seems able to ignore former Congresswoman and Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney as she sits in an Israeli jail cell. She was arrested in International waters on a ship allegedly bringing supplies to the Gaza strip. What would the Main Stream Media do if Sarah Palin suddenly appeared with Cynthia McKinney in this effort? Would they still be able to ignore it? Probably, but it would be just a little harder.

So what is the revenge of Sarah Palin all about? Nothing really, success is always the best revenge and something tells me Sarah Palin will continue to find success somewhere. But it is becoming clear that real change can only come from outside of our owned and controlled Government. Maybe she's going to move there.

I watch and consider. In this flow, some things touch me and often I may choose to respond, or not. Just because I pay attention doesn't mean subjects-objects aren't ignored. I am often amazed at how the word streams from impressions once (more...)
