Lately there has been much talk about the McCain Campaign focussing on winning Pennsylvania, where Obama is now about 10 pts ahead in opinion polls. But, lest we forget, in 2004 John Kerry beat George W. Bush by 8.7% in the Pennsylvania exit polls, but only won the state in the "official" final tally by 2.2%: http://www.appliedresearch.us/sf/Documents/ExitPoll.pdf
With Karl Rove at the helm, an awful lot of chicanery more than likely has been accomplished in the intervening 4 years. Quite possibly enough to make up the difference that Obama is ahead in in that state in 2008?
