This is a solid list of the pro's and con's for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. The choices are clear, and my choice is withdrawal. Now you decide!Each number in the pro list and con list coincide.
Withdrawing From Iraq.
The leadership in Washington has decided they will not withdraw from Iraq. What are their reason's?
1.The Iraq Government can not stop the insurgency.
2.The Iraq government doesn't want them to leave.
3.Leaving would appear that the terrorist's won.
4.Leaving would dishonor American troop's who have died.
5.Leaving would not get the oil they came for.
6.Saddam hasn't been convicted yet. His trial is not over.
7.What will happen if Saddam is executed? More uprising?
8.Saddam can't get a fair trial. His 3rd lawyer has been murdered.
9.If there is a mistrial because he can't get a fair trial, what will happen? Terrorist's Won?
10.Bush will be forced to face charges' of the false war, because troops' are not in Iraq.
11.What will John McCain do when he runs' for office, if troops' are already home?
12.What about Iran? What about Syria?
13.If they haven't left Japan yet, why would they leave Iraq?
14.They left Vietnam! But that was never called a War! Why do they compare War with Conflict?
15.Saving Face.
16.Because they have the biggest gun.
17.End of War, is not good for their profits'.
18.They would have to concentrate more on finding Bin Ladin.
19.Dick Cheney will get mad, and have a heart attack.
20.More school shootings', because kids' will not understand.
The reasons' to Withdraw from Iraq:
1.The Iraq Government should realize the War is not about Iraq insurgency, but Occupation.
2.The Iraq Government does want them to leave.
3.Terrorist, know they can never win. They are resistors. A rifle and bomb against the US military is suicide. They chance death instead of acceptance.
4.Leaving would honor American Troops, because America won. Bush fails to recognize his celebration.
5.Leaving would make them think about drilling Oil for money, instead of fighting occupation.
6.Saddam's trial proves the US has won, whether his trial is over or not.
7.Saddam will not be executed, to show America is not an executioner, and prove stability.
8.The trial will go forward, and he will serve life in Prison at the new Abu Ghraib.
9.Terrorists know they can't win. They only wish to prove resistance. No Occupation, no threat.
10.Bush will be honored for ending it on his watch. No Impeachment. His approval goes up.
11.John McCain will have better chance to be elected. He can run on creating more jobs'.
12.Iran will agree to American proposals, Syria will improve relations.
13.America is leaving Japan. Koizumi has deployed military, a sign of Japans sovereignty.
14.They left Vietnam because they could. It was not a War remember! Vietnam was a Conflict.
15.They won by stopping Saddam. America is withdrawing to create opportunity. Uplift Iraq economy
16.Withdrawing will show how responsible they are. It will put Abu Ghraib behind them.
17.Better profits from the economy will come when Oil flows from Iraq; freely.
18.This is something they want to do anyway.
19.Dick Cheney will be happy the troops are out before he dies. He won't have a Sharon.
20.Less school shootings, because they see Bush being a leader, instead of a General.
Give it a try. It is not like when America left Afghanistan after they helped expel the Russians. If things change for the worse after the withdrawal, you can always come back. But at least you are gaining political points', and approval in the attempt. Are you following me?
