A dear friend asks my response to the behavior of our government and its masters as it relates to the current electioneering. There follows the best sincere response I could manage.
To put a Repukian in the more favorable light is sincerely an act I do not relish, but consider this: In response to the relatively picayune Savings & Loan scandal in the 1980's, Daddy Bush put over a 1000 Feds into the investigation which sent 900 crooks to jail. In the multi-Trillion buckaroo Bankster orgy, Obama has 20 odd of Holder's crew assigned, and not a single Bankster has been indicted, in fact they've been gifted with trillions of our treasure to nourish their greed lust and provide for their continuing "performance" bonuses, while also continuing to put millions of families on the street homeless, while ravaging the economy and nourishing war profiteering. And they continue as well to get government loans at 0.25 percent, i.e. one-quarter of one percent, which pressures retirement funds of decent working people often down to the 0.5 percent level (I'm "lucky," getting 0.7 percent on mine), either rate being multiples less than the rate of inflation -- or their segregated portfolio of personal funds simply disappears, a la Button-Button-Who's-Got-the-Button -- and no one knows! Hey, who said the Dimocrats didn't favor "deregulation"!
Conclusion: The beat goes on: Our government -- now specifically the Obama administration -- is de-funding honest folks' financial futures in the competition for the now-secret campaign funds and other rewards current and to be gifted in future. So, the real stakes in this election are who gets the most money from vested interests -- including War profiteers as well as Banksters -- at the expense of jobs, homes, education, infrastructure maintenance, medical care competitive with others of the industrialized world, the lives of "our troops," etc, etc, ad nauseam.
Meanwhile the presidential sweepstakes -- variously termed the Battle of the Lesser-Evils -- proceeds, aided and abetted by the very dimwitted partisan apparatchiks who will hold that it's unrealistic and stupid not to choose one of the major contenders, and anyhow "our guy is better than their guy, and no one else has a chance." In this they are half-assed correct: one of their sorry offerings will win. That's where we are in America and have been for the last thirty or so years: the land of gangster politicos and their dimwitted apparently masochistic supporters. The Democrat "Liberals" have unprogressively drifted to the right of any decent political analyst's "middle," while sucking up their masters' partisan propaganda like a bear on a honeycomb. One of their dimmer bulbs responded to my assessment of Obama's broken peace promises and blind eye to Bankster corruption, to publicly question if I were a "secret agent for Romney."
Well, where am I, a former lifelong Democrat, now? I will cast my protest vote I suppose for such as Kucinich, Rocky Anderson, Nader, Alan Grayson, or possibly even such as Chris Hedges or Noam Chomsky -- that is if the voting strictures of Florida permit this citizen to actually cast for his druthers rather than for the Guv's ideas of who's allowed on my ballot. And no, that will not immediately solve much, other than to declare perhaps "a plague on both your houses!" In the longer run -- if not jailed or otherwise institutionally committed by one or the other of the lesser-evil's officers in the interim for lese majeste or some such -- I will seriously endeavor to share my truth with as many other Americans as possible, hopefully before revolution is desperately grasped as the only solution to the metastasizing need to cleanse and fumigate America's political, banking, and war-profiteering houses.
In the interim: May God bless America. Although pathetically undeserving, we will desperately need His help.
Leaving behind a treacherous government now addicted to perpetual war, its limitlessly greedy and power-lusting masters, as well as the retarded albeit smirky Republicans and their evermore clonish Democrat colleagues, a braindead electorate (more...
