You see in the psychological world of parrots such as Skeeter, up is down, the truth is a lie, and Alice in wonderland is actually reality. A perfect example of how skeeter thinks comes from a statement Bill Clinton made about whether he tried marijiauna. "I tried it but i didn't inhale...." You see Skeeter we have sort of a paradox in this statement because if he didn't inhale then he didn't really try pot did he Skeet. Which means somewhere in this statement is a lie. It's quite the compound paradox isn't it Skeet?
