The damned liberal New York Times unleashed a blistering attack on former mayor and ghoulish 9/11 fear pimp Rudolpho Giuliani in Friday's endorsement of Manchurian McCain for the Republican nomination. This was stunning to see exactly because it is dead on the mark in portraying the American Il Duce as the philandering fascist rat bastard that he truly is when all of that phony hero bullshit is stripped away. This is absolutely brilliant:

::::::::

Why, as a New York-based paper, are we not backing Rudolph Giuliani? Why not choose the man we endorsed for re-election in 1997 after a first term in which he showed that a dirty, dangerous, supposedly ungovernable city could become clean, safe and orderly? What about the man who stood fast on Sept. 11, when others, including President Bush, went AWOL?

That man is not running for president.

The real Mr. Giuliani, whom many New Yorkers came to know and mistrust, is a narrow, obsessively secretive, vindictive man who saw no need to limit police power. Racial polarization was as much a legacy of his tenure as the rebirth of Times Square.

Mr. Giuliani’s arrogance and bad judgment are breathtaking. When he claims fiscal prudence, we remember how he ran through surpluses without a thought to the inevitable downturn and bequeathed huge deficits to his successor. He fired Police Commissioner William Bratton, the architect of the drop in crime, because he couldn’t share the limelight. He later gave the job to Bernard Kerik, who has now been indicted on fraud and corruption charges.

The Rudolph Giuliani of 2008 first shamelessly turned the horror of 9/11 into a lucrative business, with a secret client list, then exploited his city’s and the country’s nightmare to promote his presidential campaign.

The neocons have their panties in quite a twist over the NYT’s skewering of America’s Mayor and CNeNemy even had on a panel of ‘experts’ meaning a bunch of fulminating shit head think tank hacks and war party shills spewing preposterous folderol of now this should actually burnish Rudy’s credentials precisely because the bastion of liberal poison propaganda saw fit to bury a shank into his back. I mean the audacity of the hated gray lady to further pile onto the fading Giuliani and derail his fanatical advisor Norman Podhoretz’s bid to turn every Middle Eastern state within 1,000 miles of Israel into parking lots.

Podhortez is another story altogether and his pathological desire to see what he calls World War IV (his lunacy is so fucking grandiose that it actually has been combined with WW III) borders on the same cravings of an uncontrollable pederast and he has a cult like following as well so look for one hell of a counter attack against the Times in the coming days with morons like Ann Coulter suggesting that someone drive a truck bomb into the building’s lobby in the hope that one of the financially overstretched losers in the army of reich wing haters actually does so. Rudy has a serious problem though in addition to being an gangster authoritarian freak, he is pro-abortion and that kills his chances with the raptureheads and all the propaganda to burnish his credibility as being so conservative that he "could eat a moon pie off of Rush’s hairy back" just don’t sell with the religious fanatics who would rather stay home on election day rather than throw their support to the most dangerous man in America.

Here is why they should not have backed him. by Bruce Deloney on Sunday, Jan 27, 2008 at 3:28:49 AM
