Even while taking 50,000 volts, Florida student Andrew Meyer would not release his grip on what the Washington Post called a “mysterious yellow book.“There is no mystery - that book is Greg Palast’s ‘Armed Madhouse: from Bagdad to New Orleans - Sordid Secrets and Strange Tales of a White House GONE WILD.‘ So mysterious it was on the New York Times bestseller list.
This is Zach Roberts - I’m a producer for Greg Palast - the guy that our tasered martyr calls, “the best investigative reporter in America.” Best or worst - whatever. The important thing is what Palast reported that got Meyer heated up to challenge John Kerry.
In ‘Armed Madhouse,’ Palast’s busted open the story that millions of Black voters were screwed out of their votes in the 2004 election. If not for that Jim Crow operation in Florida and Ohio, Kerry would have won.
Now, all you hear on the chat shows is Meyer’s screaming, “Don’t taser me, bro!” But what you rarely get is HIS DAMN QUESTION: “Palast says, You won the 2004 election, isn’t that amazing? There was multiple reports on the day of the election of disenfranchisement of black voters in florida and ohio… How could you concede the election on that day?”
We’d like to know. And we’d like to know why the Washington Post and the rest of the so called main stream media and the Democratic Party candidates haven’t had the cojones to take on this issue.
So here’s the challenge. EVERYONE SHOULD DO AN ANDREW MEYERS. What we mean is, WAVE YOUR MYSTERIOUS YELLOW BOOK - Armed Madhouse - at the media sheep and the party hacks - and send us a photo or video.
You don’t have to buy the book. Just print out a copy (YELLOW!) of the book cover . You’ll find it on our flickr page. And force these yellow-bellied cowards in the media and in Congress to to cover the story behind the volts, the story of the stolen election. Imagine a sea of mysterious yellow jackets waving at John Kerry everywhere he goes - and maybe a couple of signs, ‘ANSWER ANDREW’S QUESTION!’
And send me the links to the videos and to the pictures- at MysteriousYellowBook@gregpalast.com. The one I find most creative/dangerous/SHOCKING will receive both a personalized copy of the MYB (mysterious yellow book), Armed Madhouse and the BBC Television film ‘Bush Family Fortunes.’
By the way: Bush Family Fortunes has the footage of Florida Cops busting Greg Palast for doing an ‘Andrew’ - asking the wrong questions of Governor Jeb Bush’s vote fixers.
The deadline for the contest will be on September 27th, 2007 at 11:59 pm eastern standard time.
And Andrew: if you’re watching, give us an e-mail: you’ve already got a book to replace the one the cops are holding … and an internship here with the Palast investigative team. Go to GregPalast.com and click on ‘Contact Greg.’
