Thanks to the Internet, and correctly or otherwise, I believe that public officials and bodies, and the "main stream media" or "Fourth Estate" as you have labelled them, might not be able to keep on successfully covering up government crime "in the style to which they have become accustomed" over the past several centuries?

The Internet's potential for challenging government crime ...

I have no difficulty in agreeing with much of what you state.

However, you make no mention at all of the Internet, and the potential of the Internet to challenge government corruption, cover-ups, and crime.

Thanks to the Internet, and correctly or otherwise, I believe that public officials and bodies, and the "main stream media" or "Fourth Estate" as you have labelled them, might not be able to keep on successfully covering up government crime "in the style to which they have become accustomed" over the past several centuries?

Yesterday, for example, and in connection with the Government of the Republic of Ireland's ongoing refusal to pay me the old age pension which I believe I am lawfully entitled to, and which the Republic of Ireland Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) appears to me to be maliciously, spitefully, and criminally withholding from me (with impunity), I visited the O'Connell Street Office of the Dublin Citizens Information Service (CIS).

While the two CIS people I spoke with in Dublin were both as helpful and considerate to me yesterday morning as anybody could ever sensibly wish or hope for, and faithfully followed up on what they promised to do after I had left them (around lunchtime), events seem to me to have taken a very "funny" turn later in the day in the "Region 2 Area" of the Citizens Information Service. Further information relating to this particular "Region 2 Area" matter, which I believe involves yet more totally irresponsible attempts by certain public officials and bodies to try and cover up all the rapidly growing amount of IRREFUTABLE evidence of extremely serious Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) corruption and crime that I have been placing on the Internet for the past 14 years or so, can be viewed at the following INTERNET address:

"How do we change our government?"

By finding community representatives who genuinely believe in constitutional law, and in constitutional government; and, by then voting them into local and central government.

As individual voters, I don't see why we can't make personal choices which just COMPLETELY ignore people connected with NATO and all other groups?

"I still maintain that the corruption of language is at the core of the problem."

"Corruption" (for me) basically relates to the following kinds of things:

"people who are lacking in integrity; open to or involving bribery or other dishonest practices";

from "corruptus", Latin for spoiled (as in ruined);

which in turn comes from the Latin "corrumpare":

Literally "to break (the overall truth) into fragments", and to then select certain of the fragments for the purpose of deliberately creating completely false versions of the overall truth, and, propagating the false versions for the purpose of deliberately deceiving others in socially destructive ways. (Many might see the "main stream media" as leaders in this particular line of corruption. However, I believe they have several serious competitors elsewhere, such as in the legal profession for example.)
