The Hate Vote
To me this has been one of the strangest campaigns ever.
I watched the debates. Heard what I needed to hear.
But what really strikes me as strange to say the least, is how excited many democrats are that they think or believe they will be elected in some way in 2008. Matters not the candidate to me at this point.
I sense an over-riding pervasive feeling about this one I have never felt before. It seems to me that the democrats think America is so fed up with the current administration that there is quite literally, so much 'hatred' towards them, that if elected in 2008 it will be because of this hate.
A hate vote.
I do not wish to vote with hate or profit from hate. Hatred is a negative and nothing good comes from it. I wish to vote for that which would or could restore this Constitutional Republic. But can the vote restore it?
Though I am still listed among the Republicans, I am not for what the top of this party is doing. I have other ideas that I wish my former party were doing instead of what we see today.
