The Excellence of LinkTV Continues,

Many of us actually spend time watching television, and even the boob tube has its moments. A new series of shows has appeared on LinkTV and they appear around-the-clock on Direct TV in northern California at Channel 375.

I've yet to see Vanessa Redgrave there, but she was a supporter of the two-state solution in Palestine many, many years ago, and she has lost her breathtaking beauty while Israel continues to ramp up its atrocities, but she well might appear on LinkTV, and I for one hope she does.


Two recent shows of note were a long coverage of Norman Finklestein's sorrows battling Alan Dershowitz (recommended for intellectuals primarily):

And a talk recently given by the ageless Ralph Nader, in which he described the effects on American politics which would follow progressives and liberals funding Congressional candidates in each district around issues, sprinkled with his recollections of his own efforts in the past, especially his initially one-man campaign for auto safety in the 1970's.
