OpEdNews - Diary: The Depressing Democrats Will Win

It now looks like the Democrats are probably going to win both the House and Senate, not because of their tough domestic policies or for standing up to Republican mobsters in the Congress. Rather they have charged backwards into a major Republican sex scandal and are piling on top. I'm quite pleased that mobster Republicans may soon be extended residents at our finest federal penitentiaries. But, before we get too excited here, let us take stock in the utterly spineless way Democrats are taking power. They, as a party, did not come in with any mandate. They have no platform. No core ideals. They are just the "anybody but serious crooks" party. I say serious crooks, because most Democrats are low level crooks and thieves themselves. They didn't earn this political revolution, most of the Democrats merely waited until the serious crooks got caught. So there you have it, meet our future democratic leaders; do you think a real democrat like Dennis Kucinich will be the next Speaker of the House? I don't think so. Still, we're happy and we should rally around our democrats even though the DLC is about to take over the world. What was that old Who song, "meet the new boss, same as the old boss!". That's not entirely fair, we will have rescued the nation from dangerous, psychotic crooks, and given it back to the conservative crooks in the DLC wing of the Democratic party. Welcome to America Inc., where nothing really changes very much, anymore.
