Let's face it. GM, Ford, and Chrysler would be in much better shape if we had single-payer health care in the United States. Guess what? Japan, you know, the country that Nissan, Honda, and Toyota are from, has single-payer health care and those companies aren't worried about their employee's health care costs.Health care for retirees isn't the problem. The problem is that we don't prioritize health care as a country. So let's have single-payer like every other rich country in the world. If not for the sick, for the auto industry!
