Bush buddies do it again,
Gen. Betrayus and Adm. Crock have just finished testifying before Congress.
Assuring us all of the administrations intentions to let our Soldiers remain in Iraq indefintely.
I know they say that by next June we ill be back pre surge levels. Ha
I guess Bush is willing to kill another hundred soldiers per month.
Not to mention the tens of thousands of Iraqis that will have to die so Bush can sneak out of office and let someone else clean up the blood.,
Next June we will hear more of the same. And so on and so on and so on.
To the very last day, and then some, of Bush's reign.
Unless we Impeach, our only alternative is to impeach this Sorry Excuse For A President. An embarassment to us all. How can we continue to allow these power mongering zealots to drag the good name of America thru the blood of thousands of our children and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis?
Why can't the 70% of us who want this war to end get our way?
Isn't this supposed to be one of those countries where majority rules?
How is it that the 15% that call themselves Christian Evangelicals and the other 15% that's just plain stupid have the ability to control our country?
Does anyone remember the difference between right and wrong?
Can it be so far removed from sight?
Where is the collective concious of of this great country?
Imagine what the history books will say in fifty years about our generation. Each generation in turn has had their opportunity to do great things, to make choices that have wide ranging affects on the future.
This generation is failing to uphold it's responsibility to the future generations that will have to live in the world we created for them.
What will be written of us if we fail to stop this generation's version of evil? How will we explain to our grandchildren that we were too busy to notice that it was our own country that was the next manifestation of Nazi Germany? How could we allow ourselves to go down the same path that the good hearted people of Germany allowed themselves to travel? Are we too becoming "good Germans"
Are we part of the newest pogrom?
Are we no more then the angry mobs burning young women at the stake?
We are on a path that many great nations have gone down before,The Sumarians,The Persians,The Egyptians,The Greeks The Romans, all were in their time great nations, all were once the greatest super powers of their time, all are gone.
We are indeed headed down that path.
How are we to be remembered? What will history say about us?
If we don't stand up and act in concert together to Impeach this President and his criminal defendants (as they will become to be known) then we will have failed to honor the history of the great men and women that built this nation.
A thousand years from now we will be but a footnote, a lesson to be taught, three answers on a final, if that.
Let us be remembered for out cry of a people that did what was right when it had to be done.
