The Fort Worth Star-Telegram and PolitiFact Texas report that State representative Leo Berman says he has questions about Obama's birth certificate and that the hospital issuing the certificate denies Obama was born there.

::::::::

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Texas state representative Leo Berman, after printing out a copy of President Obama's birth certificate, says about the release at this time:  "I found that suspicious," and that it doesn't look nearly 50 years old.

Along with Obama's questioned birth certificate, Berman brought with him to the Texas House floor a purported copy of Obama's Kenyan birth certificate, about which he says, "It has all the information on it."

PolitiFacts Texas reports that Berman claims that, "the hospital Obama lists on his birth certificate - in fact, all hospitals in Honolulu - have denied the president was born there."

PolitiFacts:  Hollywood reporter Mike Evans told Minnesota's KQRS-FM radio that Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie told him that he had searched everywhere, at Kapiolani and Queens Hospital and that there is no Barack Obama birth certificate in Hawaii.  Absolutely no proof at all that he was born in Hawaii.

Evans later said, "I haven't talked to Neil since he's been governor."

PolitiFacts reports that they found no record that Kapiolani hospital has ever denied that Obama was born there, as Berman claims, nor did he provide evidence of such.

Governor Neil Abercrombie said that release of President Obama's long-form birth certificate should put to rest any doubts that he was born in the state.

Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie is a Democrat.

Texas State Representative Leo Berman is a Republican.
