The Austin Statesman reported 01/31/07 5:59 pm (CT)that according to the Texas Obsever Molly Ivins lost her battle wth breast cancerr earlier today.Althought I did not always agree with her, I appreciated her hard hitting articles and her wit, honesty and turn of word. She will be sorely missed as a voice in Texas and across the nation.
I am rereading all of her articles I have saved over the last four years. I am about half way through and decided to submit here so you may know how I, as a Texan, will miss her clear voice.
