Any System Will Fail After Gangsters Take Over
Technically, China will be out of recession late this year. They avoided borrowing money from the crooks at the IMF and thus have no debt. The command Capitalist system she has will execute any banker who tried American tricks to ruin the economy. China has just executed a couple of CEO's whose tainted milk killed children.
Although China has relatively low wages, her workers manage to save 10%. As export jobs fail, the workers can return to the interior to work on family farms.
The biggest difference is the Chinese really take care of the workers [consumers]. The Americans do not; they exploit them.
Capitalism didn't betray the USA; the gangsters at the top did.
Taliban Eat Doves
Pakistan makes small nuclear warheads that fit into suitcases and into modest ballistic missiles. They have 44 such devices enough to punch a big hole in the atmosphere. A nuclear exchange with India would also wipe out America [nuclear winter].
The Taliban intend to topple the Pakistan government and to wipe out the USA with suitcase bombs. Your President is taking action in an attempt to save your lives.
If you all want to commit suicide, you shouldn't take the world with you. Already, Bush spread the US Depression like the plague. Must we endure radioactive fall out from your ruined cities?

Human Beings are not Abstractions
For once, I would appreciate hearing your debating points in human terms. For example, "Israeli men, women and children do not want and never have wanted peace and justice."
Would the Palestinian people "recognize the right of [Jewish men, women and children] to exist and have a homeland of their own on their own land?"
What is peace to a Jewish human being? He can board a bus without it exploding. He can walk in the street without fear an axe will split his head. He can sit in his living room without the fear a missile will explode his roof.
How can the Arab World make and maintain a viable peace? Saudi Arabia could not stop the 40-lash punishment given a 75-year-old widow for 'mingling' with [accepting charity from] young men.
Human beings deserve better treatment as flesh and blood rather than as nationals and causes. Ordinary human beings are not obsessed with crusades, neocon wars or political machinations. They do not plot to overthrow the government. Indeed, they avoid any connection at all with the tortured slime bags who play politics. They only put ordinary folks in harm's way.
