World's Top Businesswomen Collaborate at 25th Annual Forum - November 9-11, 2006

::::::::

ATLANTA (August 22, 2006) -- The International Alliance for Women (TIAW) will bring its unique Global Partnership Forum to Atlanta, Ga. Nov. 9 11, continuing its 25-year history of connecting women. TIAW supports the economic empowerment and advancement of women, and its annual Global Partnership Forum helps leading business women make local, national and international connections in an exceptional learning environment. . TIAW was the first international women's organization to hold its conference in Atlanta and the 2006 event marks the third time the group has gathered here.

The Forum, co-hosted by the Executive Women of Goizueta and Georgia Executive Women's Network, offers unmatched networking opportunities for enhancing leadership skills and gaining support and strategies from highly successful women in their respective fields.

The conference also offers a unique global perspective, fulfilling TIAW's commitment to provide a culturally rich and diverse forum. The distinctive environment of international women business owners and corporate leaders is perhaps the forum's greatest contribution for its participants.

"At TIAW's international conference in Bulgaria in 2005, I met a group of women who conversed naturally about economics politics, social problems, cultural differences and personal aspirations. It was like coming home. I've looked for years for a network consisting of women who are ambitious, educated, adventurous and experienced; I found them there," said Lea Chambers, TIAW vice president of marketing.

This year's three-day conference includes renowned speakers, exhibits and activities that address many of the challenges that businesswomen face:
• Thursday, Nov. 9 - Business and Trade Mission: Provides specific ways to increase domestic and international business trade opportunities with Georgia-based companies (in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Atlanta-based Foreign Trade Commissions and the U.S. Export Assistance Center).
• Friday, Nov. 10 Leadership Conference: Sessions topics include Corporate Leadership, Board Leadership, Entrepreneurial Leadership and Mentoring Our Daughters. The Awards Gala will be held Friday night at the Georgia Aquarium.
• Saturday, Nov. 11 Women Leading in World Issues: Interactive sessions provide opportunities for attendees to discuss programs that address world issues.
