One of the most apparent traits I have noticed about this site is the shocking lack of love that permeates virtually every word here.
This says a great deal about the many, many authors here who grind their axes with oceans of verbiage which ultimately wax as hollow as their empty hearts.
Why have so many half-hearted individuals gravitated here and why have they chosen the written word to fill the void that characterizes their existence?
The lack of love is not an isolated thing nor is it determined by one’s political views.
It is epidemic in society today, but especially characteristic of the political arena which has become cut-throat, vicious and opportunistic.
Whether extreme left, as this site promotes, or extreme right which other sites embrace, the fact remains that extreme views almost always indicate a character either devoid of, or incapable of love, and so the lack of love becomes the determining factor in their lives.
How these individuals arrived at their deprived and desolate state of mind is open to opinion.
I, for one, believe that people who exhibit a lack of love are themselves incapable of loving and so love never comes their way.
Therefore, at some point in life, these individuals must learn to love and that like other important things in life is not easy, indeed, it is a lifelong struggle, but its success means the highest kind of living for only love can provide the kind of life that is meaningful.
Love, then, begins with oneself and one’s relationship with God, because once an individual knows a loving God, they are able to know they are loved and therefore they can then love.
Alas, here, with the extreme left, not only is love lacking, but the lack of faith, especially a belief in God is also prevalent and apparent.
Therefore, both the lack of love and the lack of God can generally be said to characterize the extreme left and here better than anywhere that can be seen.
