Pravda article on proposed North American currency owes much to Wikipedia

::::::::

I've heard a lot being bandied about regarding the proposed North American currency called the Amero.  And, while I don't doubt its inevitability, it's a bit sad to see this from PRAVDA.

I initially came across an article (http://www.blacklistednews.com/news-2476-0-13-13--.html) on Blacklisted News, so I decided to go to the source article at Pravda (http://english.pravda.ru/world/americas/02-12-2008/106779-amero-0) to check out the pix of the "new" currency.

Turns out a good chunk of this piece of "journalism" was lifted word-for-word from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_currency_union

And you thought American journalism was bad?

The journalistic beacon of Mother Russia has been reduced to ripping off Wikipedia?

Sad, actually.
