Tonight, Bill Maher's HBO show Real Time included guests Adam Goldberg, journalist Farai Chideya, former Rep. Joe Scarborough, and Real Time correspondent Jeremy Scahill and via satellite, Clinton campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe.
Jeremy Scahill presented a video with 3 Iraqi-Americans and Colonel Ann Wright discussing the impact of U.S. forces in Iraq.
After the video was shown, the host said he finally got it that "the chick" in the video was the colonel, but he had trouble following the video because he wondered when he would see the colonel, who he expected to be a guy.
No one on the panel said a word about Colonel Ann Wright or what she has done in the military, as a diplomat, in testimony before Congress, at Camp Casey. Not a word.
The host closed the show in "New Rules" with an admonishment to the audience not to be ignorant.
Ironic.
