I don't really get why these super delegates have such power over the party, to me it seems that elder democratic members are most likely to choose a candidate that carries the same baggage as themselves. They have been in the muck for years and owe so many favors it would seem that the only person that is right for such a person must have the same debts and and also owe favors or is such a robot that it won't take much to make the SD's baggage the candidate's.
