"It's almost immoral what they are doing."
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blames insurance companies for the sabotaging of health care in America
Well, Ms.Pelosi it is more than almost immoral, it is downright sinful.
The possibility that the American people will not end up with universal health care or with a strong government health care option is the result of 3 things.
#1. Big business insurance companies and their dirty helpers in the corporate media are doing their best to destroy the government option to health care.
#2. Some Americans are too ignorant to act in their own best interest or in the best interest of their country.
#3. Many Americans have not yet learned to care about humane and equitable treatment of all people.
Sure it doesn't help that American politicians, for the most part, are bought and paid for by lobbyists. But the real problem is with the American people.
The American people need to move beyond the lies and propaganda and think of nearly 100 million people that are either uninsured or under-insured.
A little clear thinking and compassion on the part of the American people can not only save health care reform, but can also save us from the sinful and destructive manipulation of the corporate and financial interests acting in this country and in the world.
