President Bush's short comings on Award acceptance

Following the unanimous recommendation of the Organization of African Unity, the United Nations Humanitarian Award was awarded to President George W. Bush for his work in the treatment and prevention of AID’s.

Making the award, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon mentioned the Organizations particular gratitude for the extraordinary high quality of the many millions of condoms provided in bulk to the various African Health Organizations. Upon acceptance of the Award, President Bush asked of Ban Ki-moon how the various Organizations could be sure the condoms were American if they were provided unpackaged in bulk.

“Well”, Ban Ki-moon said, “they, the condoms that is, were each individually stamped Made in the U.S.A.”

“Oh, I didn’t know that” said President Bush.

“Well, yes”, said Ban Ki-moon, “I really would not expect you to know that Mr. President. You see, you have to unroll them all the way.”
