While Scott McClellan was press secretary, I was always amazed by how transparent he was. He always sounded like a first grader reading a script - not very believable in delivering the party line.
When I heard about his book, I expected some kind of fundamental change in his personality, now that he was telling the truth. I was disappointed to find that he still knows how to dodge a question. But when Keith Olbermann asked him a key question: essentially, does he feel guilty for defending an unnecessary war that took so many lives, he never answered it. Rather, he talked about what a great job the troops have been doing, and how moved both he and the president were when the visited the families of the fallen. That's not the question, Scott.
