Scott Ewing, who served in the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment in Tal Afar, Iraq, relates his experiences during his tour and notes the glaring discrepancy between what he personally saw going on during daily patrols versus what the mass media depicts is going on.

Scott Ewing articulately recounts his experiences in Iraq and compares them with President Bush's rhetoric and corporate media spin. He was one of over 50 current or ex-servicemen and women who testified on Winter Soldier panels before the cameras this past March, while another ex-serviceman who was in attendence there estimated to me that some 170 or so individuals testified in toto, because there were, beyond the main panels, breakaway meetings where more testimony was provided.
